How to get another death guard in RS3? ›

The death guard is a one-handed Necromancy siphon, and is the first weapon received after completing the Necromancy! tutorial quest. Players can purchase additional tier 10 death guards from Sostratus in the City of Um. It can be upgraded to the tier 20 variant at the soul forge.

Upgrading. The death guard can be upgraded from tier 10 all the way to tier 90 by learning upgrades from Kili, after the completion of Kili Row. Tiers 1 to 50 require the use of lesser ensouled bars at the soul forge. Tiers 60 and 70 require ensouled bars, and higher requires greater ensouled bars.

Death Grasp is the special attack of the tier 70 and higher death guards. It costs 25% adrenaline and has a cooldown of 30 seconds, shown in a debuff. It stuns and binds the target for 4.8 seconds, dealing 405%-495% Necromancy damage.

Icthlarin is the Menaphite god of the dead, son of Tumeken and Elidinis, and brother of Amascut, the Devourer, and one of the four major gods of the Desert Pantheon. He was the original leader of the Mahjarrat when they first came to Gielinor.
