Ginger Cardamom Chai Recipe
You must have familiar with the love of chai my family and my mother has through this masala chai post. And I have told you that I love to try different ways of making tea. One of the most commonly made tea in our house is this ginger tea. Amma love it all time.
I made the perfect French fries on that day to go with this tea, and will post that soon. You can also serve this teas with any vadai or bhajji. There is nothing more comforting than this tea on a cold winter day.
Ingredients for Making Ginger Cardamom Chai Recipe
- Milk – 2 cups
- Water – ½ cup
- Sugar to taste
- Tea Powder – 2 tblspn or as needed ( we use three roses, you can use any brand)
- Ginger – 2 tblspn minced
- Cardamom / Yelakai – 4 crushed
How to Make Ginger Cardamom Chai Recipe
- Heat water in a sauce pan. Add tea powder, ginger, cardamom and mix well).
- Simmer this for 5 mins until all essence of the tea gets into the water.
- Add milk and sugar and bring it to a boil. Simmer for 2 mins.
- Now strain it through a tea strainer.
- Serve hot.
